About AMASCOP
The Moroccan Association of Semi-Preserved Fish Products (AMASCOP) brings together operators in Morocco’s semi-preserved fish products sector and works to promote their interests while supporting the sustainable and competitive development of the industry.
The association represents a sector renowned for its expertise in seafood processing, particularly salted anchovies, marinated anchovies and other high-value-added products destined for domestic and international markets.
Through its initiatives, AMASCOP contributes to the promotion of processed fishery products, the strengthening of business competitiveness and the advancement of sustainable marine resource management.
Mission
Through its initiatives, AMASCOP supports its members in:
- strengthening their competitiveness;
- improving product quality and sanitary standards;
- developing markets and promoting exports;
- fostering innovation and modernization in processing methods;
- promoting sustainability and the preservation of fishery resources;
- representing and advocating for the interests of the profession before national and international institutions.
AMASCOP also serves as a platform for dialogue, consultation and cooperation among industry stakeholders, contributing to the development of a high-performing, innovative industry aligned with international best practices.
