National Association of Frozen Seafood Industries (ANICOM)
Congélation des produits de la mer

ANICOM's mission is to represent and defend the general interests of the industrial freezing of seafood profession in Morocco. The sector mainly processes small pelagics (60% of activity), cephalopods (25%), crustaceans (5%) and white fish. Processing is concentrated in southern Morocco.

The Moroccan Association of Semi-Preserved Fish (AMASCOP) governs all semi-preserved fish manufacturers in Morocco. Specialized in salting and processing of anchovies (92% of semi-preserve exports) and marinades. Morocco is the world's leading exporter of semi-preserved fish with 98% market share and the second largest exporter of semi-preserved anchovies.

ANAFAP represents the fish meal and oil industry in Morocco. It brings together more than 24 production units and supports 21,000 direct and indirect jobs. The sector has evolved from a polluting industry to a clean industry, by valorizing surplus catches. Products (omega-3, high-quality proteins, lysine and methionine amino acids) are used in aquaculture, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics and food processing.

Federation of Seafood Industries (FIPROMER)
Conserves et produits de la mer

FIPROMER is the regional branch of FENIP based in Agadir. It brings together representatives of the various seafood processing industries active in southern Morocco: canning, semi-canning, freezing, and fish meal and oil. The Souss-Massa region, with its 180 km of Atlantic coastline, is home to Morocco's leading port for seafood landing by value.

Moroccan Aquaculture Association (AMA)
Produits aquacoles

The Moroccan Aquaculture Association (AMA) represents the aquaculture sector in Morocco within FENIP. Validated as a member at the General Assembly of March 28, 2022, AMA contributes significantly to the national economy and food security. The sector covers shellfish farming, seaweed farming, fish farming and shrimp farming, with investments in modern and sustainable technologies.

The Moroccan agar extraction industry has over 50 years of expertise. Two production units located in Casablanca and El Jadida process approximately 8,000 tonnes of raw materials to extract around 1,250 tonnes of agar-agar, almost entirely for export. Morocco ranks second worldwide in agar exports.

National Union of Aquaculturists of Morocco (UNAM)
Produits aquacoles

The National Union of Aquaculturists of Morocco (UNAM) represents aquaculturists within FENIP. A member since 2025, UNAM works alongside AMA for the development of the Moroccan aquaculture sector. Aquaculture is at the heart of the Halieutis strategy, which positions this sector as a major lever for sustainable fisheries development in Morocco.
