FENIP participated in the Morocco–Russia business mission and met with KARPI to explore cooperation opportunities in the field of fishery products valorization and processing.
The National Federation of Fish Processing and Valorization Industries (FENIP) will hold its Ordinary General Assembly on June 19, 2026. This meeting will provide an opportunity for discussion and consultation among members on the Federation’s main activities, the sector’s development prospects, and the Federation’s future strategic orientations.
The Director General of NaFAA (Liberia) conducted an official visit to Morocco, marked by high-level meetings with Moroccan authorities and FENIP, building on ongoing African fisheries cooperation initiatives. The visit helped strengthen Morocco–Liberia partnership prospects in fisheries, aquaculture, and seafood value addition, with concrete opportunities for investment and technical cooperation projects.
A registration process will be set up to support Moroccan companies wishing to export to the Egyptian market and to facilitate their market access procedures. This initiative aims to simplify administrative and regulatory requirements, remove existing barriers, and strengthen the presence of Moroccan operators in this high-potential market.
On June 10, 2026, a working meeting was held at the State Secretariat in charge of Foreign Trade to review the progress of the eTrade.ma export e-commerce platform. Discussions focused on the final stages of the project and the arrangements for its official launch.
On June 9, 2026, the Morocco–Chile Business Forum was held at the Fairmont Hotel in Salé, bringing together Moroccan companies and a Chilean delegation composed of around thirty business leaders. The National Federation of Fish Processing and Valorization Industries (FENIP) organized a business prospecting mission for a delegation of Chinese economic operators who are members of the China Aquatic Processing and Marketing Alliance (CAPPMA).
